Short answer
Loyalino is a complete loyalty app — points, VIP tiers, referrals
— with a free tier covering 200 loyalty orders a month. It looks competent. It also has
no reviews at all and no Built for Shopify badge, so there is nothing to judge its reliability
by.
And the free tier, which would otherwise be its strongest
argument, is beaten by an established competitor: Essent Loyalty’s free plan covers
250 loyalty orders with a deeper feature set, 438 reviews and the Built for Shopify badge. On
today’s evidence there is no reason to pick Loyalino over it.
What Loyalino does
It is a full loyalty programme rather than a single mechanic. Customers earn points on orders and on
other actions, then redeem them against discounts, free shipping and similar rewards. VIP tiers and a referral
programme are included, with placements on the storefront and in customer accounts.
Nothing on that list is unusual for the category, and nothing is missing from it either. As a feature set it
is a credible loyalty app.
Pricing
| Plan | Price | Loyalty orders / month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 200 — includes points, VIP tiers, referrals, storefront and account placements |
| Starter | $29/mo or $290/yr | 500 — all paid features, POS, loyalty page, API, webhooks |
| Essential | $129/mo or $1,290/yr | 2,000 — no per-order overage fees |
| Growth | $499/mo or $4,990/yr | 7,000 |
| Enterprise | $999/mo or $9,990/yr | Unlimited |
Two things worth noting. The free tier is a real one, available to live stores rather than
development stores only, which is not always the case. And the meter is loyalty orders rather than total
store orders — a fairer basis, since you are charged on the orders the programme touches. Annual billing
saves about 17% throughout.
The jump from $29 to $129 is steep, though. If your programme is working, 500 loyalty orders arrives quickly,
and there is nothing between Starter and Essential to land on.
The problem: there is nothing to go on
Loyalino has zero reviews. Not a small number — none. It also does not carry the Built
for Shopify badge. We have no evidence about whether points calculate correctly, whether the widget behaves on a
real theme, whether support answers, or whether anything breaks at volume. A loyalty programme holds a running
balance that customers can see and will complain about, so “probably fine” is a weaker position here
than in most categories.
That is not a criticism of the software. It is an absence of evidence, and it is the whole reason we are not
recommending it today.
How the free tiers actually compare
We expected Loyalino’s free plan to be its case. It is not — here is what the connected
alternatives give away:
| App | Reviews | Free tier | What the free tier includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5.0 · 438 · BFS | 250 loyalty orders/mo | Advanced points programme, VIP tiers, referrals, 12+ ways to earn, product/cart/popup/account placements, built-in email plus Klaviyo, and discount, gift, shipping and credit rewards | |
| 4.9 · 71 · BFS | 200 orders/mo | Full store-credit loyalty system, referral programme, win-back and booster campaigns, email notifications, ROI and margin analytics, Flow/Klaviyo/Judge.me integrations | |
| 0 reviews · no BFS | 200 loyalty orders/mo | Points, VIP tiers, referrals, storefront and account placements |
Essent gives you 25% more free volume, a visibly deeper free feature set, the Built for
Shopify badge, and 438 reviews behind it. Its paid tiers also start at $10 rather than $29, and it makes the same
sensible choice on metering — its listing is explicit that it counts “repeat sales and referrals, not
all store orders”.
On the evidence available today, that is a straightforward answer. See Essent Loyalty → Partner link · free to 250 loyalty orders/mo
Loyalino: in its favour ✓
- Genuinely free tier for live stores, not development stores only
- Meters on loyalty orders rather than total store orders — the fairer basis
- Complete feature set: points, VIP tiers and referrals from the free plan up
- API, webhooks and POS support from the $29 tier, which is early for this category
- No per-order overage fees on the higher plans — the cap is the cap
Against ✕
- Zero reviews. No evidence of reliability, support quality or behaviour at volume
- No Built for Shopify badge
- A better-reviewed competitor has a more generous free tier and a cheaper first paid step
- $29 to $129 is a steep jump with nothing in between
- Loyalty balances are customer-visible, so bugs here become support tickets immediately
Bottom line
We are not recommending Loyalino yet, and it is worth being clear that this
is about evidence rather than quality. Zero reviews means nobody has publicly reported what happens when it meets
a real theme, a real support question or real volume.

FAQs
Is Loyalino free?
Yes, genuinely. The free plan covers 200 loyalty orders a month and includes points, VIP tiers, referrals and
storefront and account placements. Unlike some apps, it is available to live stores rather than being restricted
to development stores.
How much does Loyalino cost?
Free to 200 loyalty orders a month, then $29 (500 orders), $129 (2,000), $499 (7,000) and $999 for unlimited.
Annual billing saves around 17%. The meter counts loyalty orders rather than all store orders.
Is Loyalino any good?
We cannot say, and neither can anyone else — it has no reviews at all and no Built for Shopify badge. The
feature set and pricing model both look sensible, but there is no published evidence about reliability or
support.
What is the best free Shopify loyalty app?
On current evidence, Essent Loyalty. Its free plan covers 250 loyalty-influenced orders a month with an
advanced points programme, VIP tiers, referrals, 12+ earning methods and Klaviyo integration, and it holds 5.0
from 438 reviews with the Built for Shopify badge. Redeemly is a strong second at 200 free orders a month if
store credit suits you better than points.
What are “loyalty orders”?
Orders the loyalty programme actually touches — repeat purchases and referrals — rather than every
order your store takes. It is the fairer way to meter a loyalty app, and both Loyalino and Essent price this way.
Check any competitor carefully, because some meter total store orders instead.
