Imgify: Falling Effect Animation & Logo Slider Review (2026)
Brands that want their own logo falling across the storefront, or a tidy marquee of the payment and press logos that build trust.
SCORE
/10
Imgify: Falling Effect Animation & Logo Slider adds a falling animation using your own brand logo or uploaded image, with presets including hearts, emoji, confetti and snow, plus a marquee logo slider carousel. It includes an AI logo maker and lets you choose which pages the effect appears on, with control over speed, size and density. It holds a 5.0 rating from 32 reviews with the Built for Shopify badge. One paid plan at $2.99 a month or $28.70 a year; the free tier is development and partner stores only.

What Imgify actually does
The falling effect drops an image down the page continuously. Where a seasonal effects app gives you stock snowflakes, Imgify lets the falling object be your own logo, an uploaded image, or one of the supplied presets, hearts, emoji, confetti, snow. Speed, size and density are adjustable, and you choose which pages it runs on. There is also an AI logo maker built in for stores that do not have a usable mark to fall in the first place, though that is a convenience rather than a reason to buy.
The logo slider is a separate feature: a marquee carousel that scrolls a row of logos across the page. This is the standard way to display accepted payment methods, press coverage, certifications, brand partners or the stockists who carry you, the visual shorthand for credibility that most themes either handle badly or not at all. It runs independently of the falling effect, so you can use one without the other.

Pros & cons
- The falling object can be your own logo or any uploaded image, not just stock presets
- The logo slider marquee is genuinely useful trust furniture and justifies the price by itself
- $2.99 a month is the cheapest paid app in this batch
- Speed, size, density and page targeting are all adjustable, so the effect can be kept subtle
- Two independent features in one app, you can run the slider without ever using the animation
- Only 32 reviews, a 5.0 average on a small base is encouraging, not conclusive
- The annual plan saves only about 20%, the weakest annual discount in this developer’s range
- A falling logo charms on the first visit and grates by the third, this is campaign decoration, not a permanent fixture
- The AI logo maker is a bolt-on that no one should choose this app for
- The free plan is development and partner stores only

Before you spend trial time
- Decide which half you actually want, the slider and the falling effect are independent features
- Upload your real logo and watch it at full density on a phone before committing to it
- Keep the effect off product pages and checkout
- If you only want the logo marquee, check whether your theme already includes a logo-list section for free
- Pay monthly unless you plan to run this year-round, the annual saving here is small
- Compare against the seasonal effects app if what you really want is holiday decoration
Pricing
Plans (verify on the listing): One paid plan at $2.99/mo, or $28.70/year, a saving of roughly 20%, modest compared with the 50% annual discounts elsewhere in this developer’s range, so paying monthly and cancelling after a campaign is a reasonable strategy. The plan covers the falling effect, custom image upload, the AI logo maker, the logo slider marquee, page selection and full control of speed, size and density. 7-day free trial. The “Free plan available” badge on the App Store listing is doing some work here. The free tier is labelled “Development Stores” and is restricted to development and partner stores only, it is a way for agencies to build and demo, not a way for a live shop to run the app for nothing. If you have a real store with real customers, your price starts at the first paid tier.

Closing take
At three dollars a month this is easy to justify if either half of it solves a problem you have. The logo slider is the sleeper feature, unglamorous, widely useful, and the sort of thing stores usually pay a developer to add. The branded falling effect is a nice campaign trick that you should switch off before it wears out its welcome.
The one caution is the review base. Thirty-two reviews at a perfect 5.0 is a good early signal from a six-year-old app, but it is not the same assurance as the several hundred reviews behind this developer’s better-known titles.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own logo as the falling image?
Yes, that is the app’s main differentiator. You can upload your own logo or any image, or use presets including hearts, emoji, confetti and snow.
What is the logo slider?
A marquee carousel that scrolls a row of logos across the page, the standard way to display payment methods, press mentions, certifications or stockists. It works independently of the falling effect.
How much does it cost?
$2.99 a month, or $28.70 a year for about a 20% saving, with a 7-day free trial. The free plan is limited to development and partner stores.
Should I choose this or a dedicated seasonal effects app?
If you want holiday decoration, a dedicated seasonal app has a far deeper library of effects and decorations. Choose Imgify when you specifically want your own branding falling, or when you want the logo slider.
Is a 5.0 rating reliable?
It is based on 32 reviews, which is a small base. A perfect average on a small sample is a good sign but carries less weight than a 4.8 across several hundred reviews.
Can I control which pages the effect appears on?
Yes. You choose which pages it runs on, and speed, size and density are all adjustable, which is how you keep it from competing with your product images.
