Checked 23 October 2026: Track123 Order Tracking has been
removed from the Shopify App Store. Its listing returns “this app is not currently available”, and
the handles a renamed version would plausibly use are all dead ends too. 17TRACK Order Tracking has gone the
same way.
Track123 was the default recommendation in this category for a long time, and on our own pages it was the
top pick: 4.9 stars, well over 1,400 reviews, the Built for Shopify badge, and a free plan that covered 50
orders a month. It is now gone, and because its tracking pages are served by the app rather than by your theme,
this is not a delisting you can afford to sit on.
Replacing it is slightly awkward, because Track123 did two jobs at once: it built the branded tracking page
your customers saw, and it pushed tracking numbers back into PayPal so your processor would see confirmed
delivery. Most replacements do one or the other. Work out which half you were relying on before you install
anything.
Quick comparison: what still exists
| App | Rating | Best for | Price | Key difference | Our link |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4.8 / 14 | Replacing the free Track123 plan | Free, then $9 | 300 free tracked orders a month, against Track123’s 50 | Partner link | |
| 5.0 / 3,183 | Matching Track123’s track record | Free, then $11 | 3,183 reviews and 1,600+ carriers. We earn nothing from it | Direct, not a partner | |
| 4.2 / 55 | Upsells on the tracking page | From $10 | Listed since 2015, but no free plan and polarised ratings | Partner link | |
| 4.9 / 160 | PayPal and Stripe sync on the best record | $9.99 | Beats the other PayPal option on reviews and badge | Partner link | |
| 4.5 / 12 | The PayPal sync half of Track123 | $9.99 | Does only the processor sync, with no tracking page | Partner link |

BestTrack Order Tracking — 4.8 from 14 reviews, Free, then $9.
The closest replacement for how most stores actually used Track123 — on the free plan. BestTrack covers 300 tracked orders a month at no cost, which is six times what Track123’s free tier allowed, and it carries the Built for Shopify badge. The honest caveat is its age: it launched in April 2026 and has 14 reviews, so you are trusting the badge rather than a long record.

First: which half of Track123 were you using?
- The branded tracking page. A page on your store showing carrier status, with email
notifications so customers stop asking. This is what most stores installed it for, and BestTrack, CWILL or
Trackr all replace it. - The PayPal sync. Track123 pushed tracking numbers into PayPal, which is how PayPal
confirms delivery and releases held funds or reserves. A page app will not do this. You need a dedicated sync
app, covered further down.
If you were using both, you now need two apps. That is annoying but it is also how the category works now,
and the sync half costs about $10 a month.
1. BestTrack Order Tracking
4.8 from 14 reviews · Built for Shopify · Free, then $9
BestTrack is the one we would install first on a store watching costs, because
the free tier is not a demo. 300 tracked orders a month, with a branded tracking page, email notifications and
custom templates, custom checkpoints, dropshipping mode and location masking. Track123’s free plan stopped
at 50 orders, so for most small stores this is a straight upgrade on the thing you lost.
Where it is weaker than what you had: history. Track123 had over 1,400 reviews behind it. BestTrack launched
on 13 April 2026 and has 14, of which 86% are five star. It does carry the Built for Shopify badge, which
Shopify grants against performance and embedded-admin criteria rather than popularity, so it has cleared a
technical bar — but it has not had time to accumulate the kind of record that tells you how it behaves
during a peak-season carrier outage. Install it, push real orders through for a fortnight, and check the page on
a phone before you point customers at it.

2. CWILL Order Tracking
5.0 from 3,183 reviews · Built for Shopify · Free, then $11
If what you valued about Track123 was its record rather than its free plan,
this is the honest answer, and we earn nothing from saying so. CWILL Order Tracking — formerly Parcel
Panel — holds 5.0 stars from 3,183 reviews, with 97% of them five star. That is more review volume than
every other app on this page combined, several times over. It has been listed since January 2019, carries the
Built for Shopify badge, and covers more than 1,600 carriers with real-time sync, localised tracking pages,
post-purchase delivery estimates and product recommendations on the tracking page.
The catch is the free plan, which stops at 20 orders a month and is really a trial. Realistic pricing is
Essential at $11 a month for 200 orders or Professional at $59 for 2,000, with $0.05 per order beyond. If a
tracking app failing would cost you more than $11 a month, pay the $11.

3. Trackr: Order Tracking UpSell
4.2 from 55 reviews · Built for Shopify · From $10
Trackr has been on the App Store since August 2015, which is longer than anything
else here, and it carries the Built for Shopify badge. It does branded tracking pages, estimated delivery dates,
multi-carrier sync and upsell blocks on the tracking page, and every paid tier carries an identical feature set
— you buy shipment volume, not features, which makes the pricing unusually easy to reason about.
Two things keep it third. There is no free plan at all, so you start at $10 a month for 400 shipments after a
14-day trial, where Track123 gave you 50 orders for nothing. And its ratings are split rather than simply
mediocre: 4.2 overall, but 80% five star against 13% one star with almost nothing in between. A distribution
like that usually means an app either fits your carriers and theme or it does not, so use the trial on your
actual shipping setup rather than a test order.

Replacing the PayPal half
This is the part stores forget until a payout is held. Track123 auto-synced tracking numbers to PayPal; none
of the three page apps above will do that for you. Two apps exist for the job, and the better one is not the one
we have a partnership with, so here are both.
4. Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync
4.9 from 160 reviews · Built for Shopify · $9.99
Proveway syncs tracking numbers from Shopify into PayPal and Stripe automatically,
which is what lets those processors confirm delivery, lift reserves and defend chargebacks. 4.9 stars from 160
reviews, Built for Shopify, $9.99 a month on the Unlimited plan, $29.99 for High Growth, and free to install on
development stores. It can also backfill past orders in one pass, which matters if PayPal is already holding
money on shipments you have delivered.
We are affiliate partners with both PayPal sync apps, and Paltrack — the one below — pays us the better commission. On the numbers Proveway is still the better app, and we are not reordering the list to chase the payout.

5. Paltrack PayPal Tracking Sync
4.5 from 12 reviews · $9.99
Paltrack does the same core job — real-time PayPal tracking sync, historical
sync, and qualifying orders for PayPal Seller Protection — on a single $9.99 plan with no cap on tracking
numbers. 4.5 stars from 12 reviews, no Built for Shopify badge.
Both are our affiliate partners and this is the one that pays us more, which is worth knowing when you read the order we put them in: at the same price it has 12 reviews against Proveway’s 160 and no Built for Shopify badge. Install it if the unlimited tracking numbers on the entry plan specifically suit you; otherwise Proveway is the stronger app.

Bottom line. Under about 300 orders a month, BestTrack on the free plan is the cleanest
replacement for what Track123 gave you for nothing. Above that, or if you want a record rather than a badge,
CWILL at $11 is worth the money and we make nothing from it. If PayPal was the reason you had Track123 syncing
in the first place, add Proveway alongside whichever page app you choose.
Common questions
Why was Track123 removed from the Shopify App Store?
Its listing returned “this app is not currently available” when we checked on 23 October 2026, and the handles a renamed listing would plausibly use are all dead. Shopify does not publish reasons for delistings, so we will not speculate about this one. 17TRACK Order Tracking was removed in the same period.
Will Track123 keep working on my store?
Possibly for a while, but this is a worse position than it sounds. Removed apps often keep running on existing installs, yet they stop getting updates and App Store support is gone. The specific risk with a tracking app is that the page your customers see is served by the app, so if it stops, your tracking links break rather than just degrading. Move before your next peak season, not during it.
What is the closest free Track123 alternative?
BestTrack Order Tracking. Its free plan covers 300 tracked orders a month with a branded page and email notifications, where Track123’s free tier stopped at 50. It launched in April 2026 and has 14 reviews, so it is newer than what you are replacing, but it carries the Built for Shopify badge.
Which alternative has the best track record?
CWILL Order Tracking, formerly Parcel Panel, at 5.0 stars from 3,183 reviews with the Built for Shopify badge and a listing dating to January 2019. It is not one of our affiliate partners, so the link on this page earns us nothing — it is here because on the evidence it deserves to be.
Do I need a separate app to sync tracking to PayPal now?
Yes, if that was part of why you ran Track123. BestTrack, CWILL and Trackr build the customer-facing tracking page; they do not push tracking numbers into PayPal. Proveway or Paltrack do that, both at $9.99 a month, and they run alongside a page app without conflicting.
Can I just use Shopify’s own order status page instead?
For a floor, yes. Shopify’s order status page and the Shop app show buyers where their order is at no cost. What you cannot do is brand it, restyle it, put upsells on it, or mask dropshipped origins, and the tracking lives on Shopify’s domain rather than yours. If the branded page was the point, you still need an app.
How do I move from Track123 without breaking live tracking links?
Install the replacement first and configure its tracking page while Track123 is still running, then switch the link in your shipping confirmation email and order status page, then uninstall. Doing it in that order means no customer hits a dead page. Push one real order end to end through the new app before you switch the emails over.
Ratings, pricing and availability were checked against the live Shopify App Store listings on 23 October 2026 and can change. This page contains partner links: if you install through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Apps marked “direct, not a partner” earn us nothing and are included because leaving them out would make the page less useful. We have not run every app here on a live store; assessments come from the listings, published pricing and review distributions.
